For some reason, I still speak to people some days who ‘just don’t want to go to Turkey’. The funny thing is, they can’t really say why. I have to admit though that until friends of mine persuaded me to go a couple of years ago; I used to say the same. I liked my holidays in Spain, I knew what to expect and where to go. I even knew a little bit of the language.
However, I have to say I am now converted. From its stunning golden shores, rolling green hills and deep blue seas to the intricate architecture, stunning natural wonders and fascinating ancient history, Turkey holidays offer great value for money and are only around a four hour flight from the UK. The country is beautiful and clean and the people are very welcoming indeed.
